Turquoise: Chapter 2

     We just stared at each other open mouthed for a second.
     "I, uh, have to go to the bathroom," Andy stammered and he quickly walked off.
     I was still staring at the doorway when Iskandar walked in, and I completely forgot about what had just happened. He looked in my direction and I waved him over. I took in his outfit as he sauntered over. He was wearing jeans that fit perfectly and a mint green button-down shirt. He looked... wow, just wow.
     He sat down in front of me and smiled. "Hi." He looked at my bracelet. "Where did you get that? It matches your hair," He laughed.
     "Andy," I started, and then I suddenly recollected the shocking incident from just a few moments ago.
     Iskandar looked worried. "Is he your boyfriend?"
     "Um. No. We're just friends."
     He relaxed. "Well, I know this is sudden, but are you you doing anything this evening?"
     Whoa. I wasn't really expecting that. "Umm, well, today's my birthday, and Andy and I usually go see a movie or something. But, I mean, if you want to go do something I'm sure he'd understand." He probably wouldn't, though.
      He smiled. "Meet me at 7:00? At the movies?"
      I nodded, and he stood up and started to leave. He suddenly turned around. "Happy birthday."
